OUTPUT
VLC srt://g8koe.ddns.net:8890?streamid=read:g8koe
Just an update that the SRT Repeater with G4FKK logic using a Laptop and OBS to stream to the MTXserver is working.
It is much smoother in operation.

Re: Secure Reliable Transport
Hi Martin,
You could try using this page to generate a QR photo to make it easier for people to use your SRT repeater.
https://www.haivision.com/play-pro-settings-tool/
It may work!
Here is the QR code I made for my SRT player for testing.
The output can be see on VLC at
rtsp://82.144.238.35:8888/stream1
This is a temporary setup!
Hope it works.....

Re: Secure Reliable Transport
I have tried this QR code using a QR code scanner on my phone and it worked. I do have the haivision app installed.

Re: Secure Reliable Transport
Martin.. I am not sure how I missed this but this is exactly what I have been trying to find & build for our extremely marginal area.
I am going to have many questions but I am going to follow the stages you went through in an effort to duplicate your current build.
I had many issues with trying to get OnPremises SRT Player for RPi working for me but you have given me a new hope.

Re: Secure Reliable Transport
Hi Andy,
I had help from John G7JTT with the Media MTX server.
The logic was Martin G4FKK.
A block diagram of how it is connected.

Re: Secure Reliable Transport
That is a great help, thank you.
So far I have 1x SRT rpiPlayer and a BATC repeater controller connected to a quadviewer and then in to a stream encoder going to the BATC Streamer site.
I have had no luck connecting to the player from my mobile phone, no matter what app I use, but OBS and my ATEM Mini have no issues even with an external url. I was hoping to link in from work tomorrow but that may be belayed until next week after a weekend of further fiddling.
Unfortunately, I ran out of RPi 4s otherwise I would have all 4 channels hooked up to something. I'm holding on to the single RPi 5 incase I do need a server of some kind.

Re: Secure Reliable Transport
SRT Player works on RPi 3 and 2 if you have any hanging around.

Re: Secure Reliable Transport
I think I gave all of those away. Time for more shopping I suppose....
I got the SRT stream to work correctly from my work place (University of South Florida) to my shack and out to the BATC Streamer, although with a 20+sec delay.
I still can not get a phone app to connect, always getting am Auth error.
I also cannot get the Orei quadviewer to pass audio reliably, even on one channel, so will try to pick up a cheap mixer today also.
