EDUP amp power output

Post by g3yjr » Tue Aug 11, 2020 10:35 am

Does anyone have a graph/table/function relating current drain through an EDUP amp to RF power out for a given supply voltage, say 12V?

Try George M1GEO's website? There's a bit about these there IIRC.

I can give you a datasheet for the devices and the switch.
There are two in parallel.
So don't expect more than 5W.

It takes about 0.3A quiescent (Tx mode).
And about 1A-1.5A maximum.

There is an internal 6v SM PSU so it really runs at 6V.

Does this help any?

Thanks for our advice M0YDH.

Thanks G0LJF for the datasheet. It has a nice Icc vs Output Power graph in it.
