Portsdown Help
Portsdown Help
Hi
Just getting going on DATV and have the Minitiouner receiver all setup and working.
for TX now have RPI with Portsdown latest version 201910103 installed setup and running.
I have now connected my Lime mini and have TX images across the shack
from the Portsdown I have now connected the Minitiouner connected to the RPI and can UPD received video to VLC
Reading on the forum I saw this from Noel
"A slight confusion now is that you can plug the MiniTiouner USB tuner hardware in to the Portsdown system and it will display the pictures, thereby becoming a full DATV transceiver and replacing the need for a PC."
What do I need to install/setup to be able to achieve this?
I am slowly making progress hopefully transmitting shortly.

Re: Portsdown Help
Hi, Keith
I'm about to try this out (next weekend) so I'll report on how it went in due course...
However, it's my understanding that as long as your Portsdown has the latest software update (with LongMynd receiver capability) then simply plugging the Minitiouner into a USB port on the Pi is all that's required... Selecting RX from the Portsdown Menu should then allow you to view the output of Minitioner, with appropriate button presses
