Greetings;
What is being used as the video capture/input card or device for streaming onto the web site? Right now I'm using just a standard web cam but would like to make use of some of the cameras that I've been collecting. I'm using Windows XP SP2 as the operating system in a Dell computer.
Thanks for any information!

Re: Video Capture Card or device
Hi Gary - KB9VGD,
I just wrote an article for the OCARC club newsletter that describes how DATV repeaters in England and Germany do streaming over the internet to a distant web server over the internet.
Take a look at
TechTalk80 - Comparing DATV Repeater Designs - Part 2
It can be found on the OCARC web site at

Hope this helps you....de Ken W6HHC

Re: Video Capture Card or device
I have been experimenting with an Easy Capture USB capture device from Ebay. The pictures work but the sound is a problem and is best connected direct to the computer. Another way is to fit a firewire card to the PC and use a camcorder with firewire
