Hi,
Can anyone help with screw thread size for the holding brackets at the bottom of an Isotemp OCXO 134-10 / 12?
Making brackets no problem, but have nothing near that size.
Engineering drawing has only dimensions and spacing's.

The data sheet here shows the slot width is just over 1/8th inch so a 3mm screw should work fine.

Thanks for the reply, I may have explained better...
The problem is I have no idea what sort of screws to go into the side of the OCXO,
you can't really tap them as it is a sealed box and may contaminate the inside.
Probably USA thread, wonder what size would be equivalent to say a an old 8 BA or so.?

Hi Peter,
I printed the mechanical drawing and determined the screw head size by referencing the known dimensions.
http://www.isotemp.com/wp-content/uploa ... 134-10.pdf
The screw heads attaching the brackets are about 0.180" dia. The closest US size is a #2 at 0.165.
That screw may not be drawn to scale or could be metric?
The screw covering the adj hole is 0.322" which matches a US #8.
Have you considered just using doubled sided foam tape?
John

Hi John,
Thank's for looking and working out the possible sizes.
Did think of tape, but it does get warm in its Box of bits.
I think a local Ham the other side of Leicester has found the answer?
He is bringing over a jar of screws saved from stripping HP equipment.
I will let the you and the forum know.
