Has anyone seen this
http://www.hides.com.tw/product_cg74469_eng.html
the UT-100B version supports 2/3/4 MHz BW DVB-T for Ham operation
both on transmit and receive and at $230 it is not too expensive.
Thanks Tom O'Hara W6ORG for pointing this out to me.

Re: Narrow band DVB-T 2/3/4 MHz
Thanks for that Charles. I see it is on amazon Japan but haven't found it on the uk site yet
Can't imagine the chipset isn't in something else. Interesting how it came to be made maybe someone from the company reads this forum! Wonder why the don't offer the 1MHz bandwidth and the others in between as used by broadcasters and spooks /other law enforcement depots?
Wonder if it can be made to act as a repeater. Will it work with a raspberry pi
Mmmm must put that on the shopping list
Interesting times ahead for datv

The HiDes company from Taiwan sent Tom W6ORG the photo of the UT-100 PCBA shown below.
Only one of the chips the AD8345 RF Output Mixer is identified.

Re: Narrow band DVB-T 2/3/4 MHz
Looks like it is not such a bargain after all. I have just had a look at a copy of the
manual and it seems to require a transport stream from a P.C in other words it has
no hardware MPEG encoder included.
Still it might be a cost effective way to receive narrow band DVB-T.
