I am starting to explore the addional benefits of Portsdown 4 beyond QO100 wideband reception having seen briefly Langstone at the RSGB convention.
In The wiki "Portsdown 4 Langstone Intergration" - "Background" section it states "Check you have.. The correct USB audio dongle Non supported USB dongles will not work.
My system comprises Portsdown 4 recently updated, Pluto, Minitiuner, Audio out from Pi.
Please can someone clarify where is the correct USB dongle defined?
Thanks

I have one on order too - Thanks for the tip.
Slightly concerning that it's described as a 7.1 channel audio interface but as long as it works I'll be happy.
On that note, is there an obscure menu option or other easy way to confirm that it definitely is working?
I'm still in the build phase and have a Pluto but no PA so can't easily do a transmission test to confirm it.
(Audio level monitor on the transmit screen would be my dream but I suspect there's a "very" long list of more essential features ahead of that in the wish list.)

Re: Portsdown 4 Langstone Integration Correct USB audio dongle?
To be honest it 'just works' in every PD4/Langstone I've built. If it's not working, Langstone tells you and exits during startup, which reminds me to plug one in....
If you have a ryde for Rx, a bare pluto with it's supplied antenna on 70 or 23cms and a bit of wire poked into the Ryde socket will work fine across the shack.
