Signals strength seemed similar to immediately after switch-on to me.

Thanks Dave. I will check the tracking next week ( too cloudy today ) and measure the Sun Noise again.

Hi all,
unfortunately in the UK at least, the same band that the ISS downlink uses is also used for mobile phone communications and I have 3 masts within 2km of my house. The snap shot shows a max-hold display over about 20seconds, the output being from my S-band LNB, with the reference level at-20dBm. In addition, the top end of the spectrum display shows the local WiFi signals. Good front-end linearity is advised but a TDD signal appearing on top of the ISS downlink is always a possibility. The ISS downlink is usually centered at 1555MHz on my display, as shown below.

Having said that, reception was good yesterday.
