Here is the new version 2.08 which allows the support of the latest firmware of Evariste F5OEO
You now have at your disposal a software for both beginners and seasoned OM at DATV ;)
You can use it with:
- the ADALM PLUTO in USB2 with the original firmware from Analog Device
- The ADALM PLUTO in Ethernet with the Firmware of Evariste F5OEO
- The LimeSDR mini in USB3

You can leave many of the default settings on Automatic or experiment with your settings.
The software also allows you to monitor and control your amplifiers by relay control.

The ZIP Pack includes:
- the installation executable
- the drivers to install (for the Pluto install the 2 exe's)
- links to compatible graphics cards or processor for hardware encoding
- the program for an Arduino Uno with an Ethernet shield card for monitoring the current, voltage, temperature and power.
Do not forget to read the PDF notice before any questions.

Thank you for your feedback and encouragement.
Happy testing!

Bonjour Dominique,

Is it possible to use a Pluto with "For the Brave" firmware via USB? I use the Pluto with a Portsdown4/Langstone combo so require that firmware.

I would test it Dave and see. I can't yet as I have to go for work. I am hopeful!

You might need to set version 303 up via the web interface first. I am interested to see if it works with Droidcam audio. As you know I have this working on a laptop with a script but not yet at 15 FPS. It works fine at 30 FPS.

3 different pluto firmware versions are supported..
Original pluto...
F5OEO 0201 (witch was the last "normal"version) witch may be supporting most of the Easy functions.. but not tested yet...
F5OEO 0303 (witch was the perseverance version and had several different approxes)

More testing involved...

Excellent, its transmitting for me on 5.7GHz using the 'For the brave' Pluto firmware (FIRM2101RC) and an Intel I7 gen 7 laptop using Intel coding. Best I get on with the receive strip now!!
Many thanks :-)

Interesting, after lashing up a 5.7GHz RX strip and getting solid pictures across the shack, its stopped....not transmitting.... the DATV carrier comes up and goes as expected, but it now has a 'central spike' left on like a carrier. Whatever it is it does not drop when the DATV tx is stopped and as far as I can tell, is stopping my RX system decoding actual video. I get almost instant lock, MER of 24, all the station details etc, just no video.
I will see what other users post/find before I consider it as a 'software problem', it might just be something I have done. I'll have a look at what's coming out of my RX on the Analyser. I have also not checked I'm running the right Pluto SW, as I really want to be alble to use it with a Portsdown too, hence 'for the brave' software at present.....
I know, read the manual......again!

Gareth,

Well I got it working with "for the brave" but am considerably down on power. TXing at H265 333KS/s FEC2/3 my signal was D-0.2 and freezing, not sure if that is my old PC (using Intel CPU encode) or the weak signal. I'll add some gain to the TX path and try again, for the moment it's back to Freestreamcoder and H264.

Many thanks for adding 48kHz samplerate on the audio.
