Customising the Ryde information display
Re: Customising the Ryde information display
So I am right in thinking :-
timers:
USERTRIGGER: 10
PROGRAMTRIGGER: 10
represent 10 second time outs for the MER/dB Report and if so could we make these 60 on our repeater?

Re: Customising the Ryde information display
Yes, USERTRIGGER is the timeout for when you press select on the remote, PROGRAMTRIGGER is the timeout when it activates itself, both in seconds.

Re: Customising the Ryde information display
I read the earlier comments regarding editors - I presume I can edit this with nano can I or that too dangerous too?
Thanks

nano would be my choice from the command line. I use it a lot with Ryde and Portsdown.

Re: Customising the Ryde information display
I would use vi (or vim) but expect I am in a bit of a minority there.

Re: Customising the Ryde information display
Hello @all,
I think this has already been mentioned somewhere, but I can't find it again.
Is it now possible to use both inputs of the SAT tuner in scan mode?
E.g. upper for 23cm, lower entrance for 13cm?

Re: Customising the Ryde information display
No I don't think so.
But you can send remote tune commands with specific scan parameters either on the Ryde itself or over LAN.
See github example:

Re: Customising the Ryde information display
You could re-write the code to do that, but not at the same time. This is a one channel at a time receiver. If you want to do this it might be better to use the WinterHill board.

Re: Customising the Ryde information display
Thank you for the answer.
of course I was thinking of scanning sequentially, similar to scanning to different frequencies on the QO100.
First Ryde scans the SR 1000kB and 333kB on the upper input at 23cm, then the SR 1000kB and 333kB on the lower input at 13cm.
