WTB: Short length of Triax Needed

Post by Bigglez » Wed Sep 10, 2008 6:27 am

Testing on HK-323 camera heads and CCUs has come to screeching halt as
I don't have any Triax cable. In a serendipitous acquisition the BS323
CCU/PSU that I was looking for turned into a windfall of "three pallets" of
HK323 kit and spares formerly used by US cable channel ESPN. Yippee!

Any suggestions on where to find a short length with connectors?

BTW, here is the 'States Triax cables use the "Kings" or equivalent connectors.
(EU use F&G style connectors). Here's a manufacturer's catalog link:

Hello Peter,

good luck with the Triax, always a problem.

I know it sounds silly, but for testing you can use Coax and a single wire for the outerscreen, Bodge the connections to the triax with whatever fits until you find some triax. Watch out for the volts!!!!**++
