Interesting. I used to use the loopback module to use my FlirOne thermal imager as a webcam. Might make for some interesting videos. I don't suppose there is a package available yet?

Hi all,
After reading the new CQ-TV, I thought I could share my Jetson Nanobox, not the same configuration as Dave G8GKQ, and may-be I wxill call it the "BATC BOX", hi!
This configuration allows me a lot of test without modifying any wiring, i find that confortable! I can switch to select Lime or Pluto as TRX.

Hi Roland, that looks like a very nice set up there.
One thing I'd like to ask is how you share the Minitiouner between the Pi and the Nano? At the moment my Minitiouner is plugged into the Nano and if I want to use it on the PC then I have to unplug from the Nano and plug into the PC. That was until I found Virtual Here ( https://www.virtualhere.com ) so now the Minitiouner is left plugged into the Nano with the server running and I can still use it on the PC as and when needed. I see there is also a client and server for the RPi so I wonder if it would be possible to plug the Minitiouner into the RPi and run the server, then run the client on the Nano as that would mean you could use the keyboard on the nano to stop and start the client? I will need to have a play and see when I get a chance, that could make for a very nice multi-use non Windows based bit of kit.

Thanks for the information on VirtualHere, it looks like another piece of software to test! There is a trial version, so I think I will do the test!
Server on Pi or Jetson ? there is an ARM64 version that can run on Jetson, maybe?
At the moment the Minitiouner is connected to the Pi, I need to install Longmynd on the Nano so that I can transmit and receive DATV simultaneously, as you are doing I think!
Let me know how you are doing with VirtualHere!

I have the server running on the Jetson nano already, hopefully sometime over the weekend I will also install the GUI client on the Jetson nano and the server on the RPi. Yes you are correct I am able to run duplex with the Jetson nano, albeit along with OBS the Jetson is very much at its limit. This is mainly because OBS is encoding H264 in software as it does not as yet have the hardware drivers. I then use ffmpeg to encode H265, I've also used Gstreamer but it causes issues with the video player I use with Longmynd.
Looks to experiment with just not enough time at the moment

Hi John,
I can confirm that the VirtualHere server is running on the Pi 4, so my Minitiouner is now on the LAN! Magic!
No problem with Porstdown 4 running on TX in the same time.
Now to install Longmynd and VirtualHere client on Jetson!

Hi Roland looks like getting the client to work on the Jetson is not going to be straight forward, it seems USBIP is missing and needs to be built into the kernel ! I'll do some reading and see what is needed as it not as simple as sudo apt-get usbip, hopefully we can get it to work as it will be easier to run the client on the jetson than the Portsdown.
