cant't access menu on first start

I installed actual soft today and can acces via putty but no portsdown menu is visible.
How can I access the menu?
P.S. installing shortcut as described by aerostar on April 28th was not successful .

If you are getting the response

-bash: /home/pi/rpidatv/scripts/menu.sh: No such file or directory

then you have a major problem with your Portsdown installation.

There should be a file called "menu.sh" in the /home/pi/rpidatv/scripts folder. If it is not there, I would suggest that you start again and make a new card.
