LKV373A

Post by G8XZD-TV » Thu Jun 27, 2019 8:47 pm

Hi,
Does the LKV373A ignore or respect the HDCP flag.
Has anyone got it passing a HDMI signal from a camcorder?

Many thanks

Ian.

Hello Ian,

Up until tonight I hadn't thought to test this. Just plugged in my Sony Handicam and it works great. Lovely picture on VLC.

I have plug my Panasonic HDC-SD700 camcorder in HDMI to the LKV373A and everything is running fine.

Thanks Steve and Alain,

That's good to know.
Still waiting for mine to come but it seemed the obvious way to get a decent HD picture into the Portsdown rather than a "HD" webcam with optics by unigate :-)
I know in the past some HDMI inputs wouldn't pass the video if it couldn't see a secure destination.
