Following on from the LKV373 thread, it appears that the 'preferred' supplier also sells these units...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/201666886890 -- Blast, just re-read the listing and it is DVB/T CATV, so presumably actually DVB/C
http://www.ebay.com/itm/201538560251 -- Wireless HDMI, who is going to be the brave soul to buy one ? No mention of frequency used...

PS A word of warning; I purchased an LKV373, and while it carries HDMI over CAT6, it doesn't use IP.
DVB-T encoder, modulator, US$159 (?)

Mark to get it to produce UDP you need to re-flash it with an older version of the firmware the details are on danman's website.markaren1 wrote:PS A word of warning; I purchased an LKV373, and while it carries HDMI over CAT6, it doesn't use IP.

The correct unit, that does work, is V3 the LKV373A. E.g EBAY item No 382121450534. This needs flashing with older firmware as Charles advises. Don't buy the earlier version.

Re: DVB-T encoder, modulator, US$159 (?)
Thanks guys.
Alas the units I have only have a single chip with HDMI in, and CAT5 out, no eth transformer, no boot FLASH.
Does not negotiate with the switch, does not establish a layer 2 link with the switch.
Afraid the unit is literally HDMI -> CAT5, and back again...
Also much smaller than the 'correct' units.
