come back in RX after tx patern and mpeg-2 preview ?

Post by F5SWB Dimitri » Sat Feb 18, 2017 7:32 am

Hello Dave,

I'm running with the wondershare 3.5 inches lcd screen but I have some questions :

1 - when I choose patern I can see it (tcanim) on the screen but I'm not able to go back in rx even I touch the screen
2 - I can not preview RASPICAM in mpeg-2 but it's ok in H264 ?

Have you got any idea ?

Many thanks for a reply.

Hi Dimitri

Really sorry, but we can only really provide support for the Waveshare 3.5 inch LCD otherwise, we just run out of time. They cost less than $20.

1. If you try logging into a console while the touchscreen is running, you will be able to see the commands that the software is interpreting from the touchscreen. That may help you switch back to standby.

2. The preview screen does not work for MPEG-2 on the first transmit selection after boot-up. It should work on the subsequent selections. You may be able to adjust the overlay code around line 316 of rpidatv/scripts/a.sh to make it work on your screen.

But it might just be easier to buy the supported screen.

Hi Dave,

Many thanks for your quick reply. Don't matter about the lcd screen, we are here in test in this area and it's not very important.
Which screen will you advice ?

Have a good weekend !
