Hi Alain F1CJN,

I have not heard further if you have solved your problem with Logitech C920 web-camera??

I thought I would show a screen-capture of my Windows10 Control Panel DEVICE DRIVER showing my successful C920 driver installation. I wonder if your driver installation looks similar??

I suspect that Charles G4GUO was correct when he suggested you need to first install the driver from Logitech, before you try to select the C920 web-cam.

Let me know if this device driver information helps you?

hello,
I have exactly the same issue with my C615.
I can get the Device Name "Logitech HD Webcam C615"
but no Device Format at all.

I can get the Device Formats using Graphstudio

or my own software

so very strange

Only the DATV express software can't find the Device formats

Yes,I am using French Win7, but I don't see why this happens.
I don't suppose that it comes from the last UK decision about Europe.

Alain, it is not the driver installation. you can check using Graphstudio.

Hi again,

Perhaps the way towards the solution:
1)
On my computer using Win7-32pro and C615 driver 13.31.1044.0
GraphStudio and my software find only 2 video formats RGB24 and I420
webcam c615 video formats.jpg

But on the DATVExpress documentation (pdf) I can see that there are 3 formats indicated: RGB24, I420 and Mjpg?
C615 menu on DATV express doc.jpg

2) using a French version of Windows, we can get French sentences using accent on letters.
Using the picture I present above, If we look at the way GraphStudio shows us the C615 DirectshowFilter proprieties, we can see French accent:
"Propriété Pin"

if the software search for "pin propriety" it will find nothing

the description use also French accent : "Espace de colorimétrique/compression" "Débit d'images"

OH les Français !!....

With Jean-Pierre's help we seem to have fixed it.
The issue was the pin name Capture vs Capturer

As far as MJPG is concerned, if you select that format, the software will
use FFmpeg to de-compress MJP into YUV420 then compress it it into
MPEG2/4. If the format is wrong the program won't work and it will be
very obvious that the camera doesn't support the format.
If it does work then the device does in fact support MJPG.

I only added it as I have one device that will only output in that format.
(A really cheap eBay special)

Hi Christian - F1FAQ and Alain - F1CJN ,

Just to clarify...the problem of seeing some cameras correctly with DATV-Express for Windows when using "French-language-Windows" was corrected in the latest software release v1.23 of Express_DVB-S/-S2_Transmitter. The new v1.23 software release for Windows and an updated Users Guide for Windows is now available to download from the DOWNLOADS page on the web site http://www.DATV-Express.com
