Hi All,
I'm trying to get a couple of good quality surplus Bosch EnviroDome PTZ domes working under PC control, but they have been configured to hide the on-screen user setting menu.
Unfortunately there is no internal hardware 'reset to factory settings' button to reconfigure the camera.
In order to unlock the menu I believe that I need to send a Pelco-D command sequence consisting of <ON-998-ENTER> <OFF-90-ENTER,> <SET-802-ENTER> then a set a password of <9999> using the on-screen display and joystick.
So I'm now in a 'catch 22' situation where I can't talk to the camera without knowing the communication protocol and baud rate etc. and unless I can do that I can't enable the on-screen display which would show the menu with the current communication protocol and allow me to unlock the camera.
Most of the software such as PTZ controller that I have found on the web will only perform the usual PTZ / Iris command sets.
I have also tried 232 analyser with the Pelco D plugin and PelcoD_tester without any success, but it could be the way I've had to manually configure the command strings that is at fault.
Has anyone got any suggestions WRT how I may be able to resolve this situation, or any software that I may be able to use ?
