Pallet to build up or a turn-key solution?

Jim G7NTG has some 300w pallets at a reasonable price, just bought two myself.

Hi all..
I do not mind if its a pallet or ready build tbh.
I did try emailing Jim but no response, maybe I have an old email address that he no longer uses.
Thanks

Re: Wanted: 70cm DATV amplifier
Hi Matt
It depends what you want in power terms. There are several options, from Aliexpress to a pallet you might need to modify. Jim imported several of the PAs you may have seen me talking about, they are good for 100W of DATV, and a lot more SSB/CW. Mods are in CQTV 286.
I have tried to email you but I don't know if your QRZ email is up to date. Jim's is OK in QRZ as far as I can tell.

Re: Wanted: 70cm DATV amplifier
Thanks Mike!
I received your email, thank you. And yep, I resent my email to his QRZ email address so hopefully get a reply.
To be honest, I just need enough power to reach GB3TV 437 input from here. I have tried a couple of these Chinese 25 watt amps, but they distort the signal if I push them too hard, i.e massive shoulders!
Although, if I had more power than needed, I could always experiment with others on 437.
Hopefully Jim will reply and I will see what he has available and if its cost effective for my needs.
Cheers

Re: Wanted: 70cm DATV amplifier
Hang on - so the GB3TV 70cm input is working now? I will have to try.
Re: Wanted: 70cm DATV amplifier
Apparently so. I have had zero success on 437 so far. However, G4IYT tested it yesterday from Leighton Buzzard and he was able to get in on 20 watts.
Re: Wanted: 70cm DATV amplifier
Mike, Just spoke to someone and they told me there will be a new 70cm lna and filter added soon. Apparently its currently extremely deaf on 70cm.
Re: Wanted: 70cm DATV amplifier
To confirm, I am now sorted for an amplifier thanks to Jim.
Thank you everyone that commented and advised.
