There are cheap TCXOs here https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/202891111938 - you don't need the trimming pot. Only disadvantage is you can't tune them spot on frequency, but that's not such a hardship given the Serit Tuner is also not all that accurate.

You can also save a lot of money buying cheap SMAs from Ebay or Aliexpress rather than the expensive ones from distributors. There are cheap mixers too that work OK. Intelligent shopping should halve the parts cost. Just don't skimp on the inductors and MMICs.

Thanks

Hi Robert

No but... my experience with Digikey and Mouser is that parts change quickly. They go out of stock, or get replaced by practically the same part, but with a different part number. You may find after 2 years that many of the parts in the BOM appear to not be available. They are largely generic so it is relatively easy to substitute as long as you know what you are doing.

Mike

EDIT - I should add, don't waste your money on high quality SMA connectors - this is HF/VHF so even the cheap ones will work fine, just make sure they will fit. They are in the BOM for completeness. A quick check showed that practically all the resistors are unavailable, having been replaced by newer parts, but they are just resistors.

Thanks Mike

All Good
I uploaded a bom to Digikey and only 2 items were out of stock at the time, part numbers sorted them self out OK
It was more a check just in case of mods and being a couple of years old, good to ask.
PCB is on the way from BATC
Good Info
Cheers
