Ptt portsdown buster failure I need help:

Post by EC3DBA » Tue May 19, 2020 8:39 pm

Raspberry pi 3+ together with Lime sdr mini with Buster porstdown and LimeDVB firmware.
The PTT signal is taken from the Gpio 21 pin 40.
In display mode everything works correctly the ptt signal is collected on pin 40.
In ssh and iptsin mode there is no ptt signal on pin 40.

Some kind colleague could indicate, and where I am failing.

Thank you 73

Hi Joan

I do not think that you are failing. It is that the later versions of Portsdown have been designed to work with the Touchscreen and not the SSH Console menu. So, the PTT is probably not set in the SSH Menu when using IPTS in.

I will add it to the list of things to fix in the next release.

Dave

Thank you very much for the quick answer.
I am very grateful for the effort you have been making with portsdown and maintaining this forum.
The function would be very useful.
Is there a configuration or system that allows portsdown to be broadcast in ssh mode?

Doing a reflection in console mode, ssh, when I give the action to transmit the pi it does, the only thing that the gpio 21 pin 40 is not activated, but the file transmits with what it could take the ptt change of the gpio of the lime .
Someone could confirm it.
Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi Joan

This problem should be cured in the latest Portsdown Buster release (202006070), so simply run an update and it should work after that.
