Portsdown 2018 Stretch Software News
Re: Portsdown 2018 Stretch Software News
Hi Dave
A very minor thing I found. Changing the lime gain is not saved as default. If I change it to 70 say, it always goes back to 90 on next boot. Saved ok with presets.
Many thanks
John

John
Thanks for reporting this. I have found and corrected the error with Lime Gain. The fix should be in the next release.

Just upgraded to Stretch 201811030 and my animated testcard lacks any animation? It's always worked before. Running on a RPI3B+ on a 16Gb Sansdisk.
Output to ugly, H264 DVB-S.
Have I upset it?

Hi Gareth,
I updated my system over the weekend and found many of the settings had become corrupted, what is more the changes i made to put them right woouldn't stay put.
Normal operation was restored by the restore defaults option.
Kind regards, David.

Hi Gareth
If you check the transmitted signal, you will find that the animated test card is working and much smoother than before. It is just not displayed on the touchscreen. Documented here: https://wiki.batc.org.uk/H264_Encoding_ ... im.29_Mode

Thanks David and Dave for pointing out what I read the other day -sorry!! It spent a lot of time doing the Lime SDR compile and install this time, if it makes my Lime work, great, just how much can a RPi be made to do? Inspirational
