I've only ever bought the OTLSO twin PLL version. The number for that seems correct in both places.

I bought one and it has the barcode 4260189991131 which the original information suggested a single PLL LNB.
The information I got from the web site of Octagon-Germany suggests no PLL and so I assume it must the DRO version. If no one has any further advice I must assume the manufacturer/distributor is correct.

Apart from cracking it open, is there any good way to tell which is which?

Pleased to discover the latest OSLO single LNB I bought has a 25MHz crystal, eBay item number 173251983523.

The LO is standard 9.75/10.6GHz. Generating 25MHz from my 100MHz reference is easier than generating 27MHz, though it is probably stable enough for DATV without locking. Not bad for £12 including post.

My OTSLO one has 25.0MHz crystal as well. Also the other PLL board is removed as was fitted in my early one.

Paul M0EYT has an excellent webpage listing a few of the PLL LNBs with internal photos:

I bought 2 "Goobay" LNB's, done a sweep on a SA and they look pretty good for 10GHz frequencies, 250MHz-1.5GHz range on the SA display, looking at a 10GHz signal (10.250). First picture the marker wasn't on the signal.
These have a 25MHz Crystal, might buy a couple more and mod them,

I've just bought an OTLSO from Ebay and it's the old 27MHz type. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/182422603442

I thought that all the old stock would have cleared if they made the change last year. There's a 4 digit code on the LNB. I wonder if that's some sort of batch code that would give an indication of type? This latest one is 1301, whereas the ones I bought last year are 1306.

I wonder what the 4 digit numbers are on 25MHz OTLSO types and where they came from?

Hello,

The 25 MHz model has number 1609.

I recently ordered several OTLSOs and received a mix of 1301, 1306 and 1609. I raised this issue with one of the distributors on Amazon and they said they could check the model before shipping. The 1609 cardboard box has three distinctive "satellit sehr gut" logos, but maybe the only way to be sure is to get the LNB out and read the sticker with a magnifier.

What is Goobay and how do you order from them? I have been using Ebay but it is a bit hit and miss on these LNBs.
