DTX 1 back in stock & pricing model changes

Post by g8gtz » Tue Dec 03, 2013 6:52 pm

The DTX1 PCB and display is now back in stock at £399 PLUS postage and packing.

The DTX1 case parts are also back in stock and are now priced separately at £65 including P+P.

We have changed the pricing model (but not the price) to allow members to buy the case parts separately from the DTX1 PCB.

Yes, and good to see them selling as well!

Just FYI, my old call M6TTX is no more so anyone sending PM's about DTX1 please note my new call as below.

Hi folks,

Is there any way you can change your tax status to sell these things without charging VAT to folks outside of the UK? Paying UK taxes AND local state taxes is a show stopper!
Thanks,

Hi Stefan
Sorry about that. The only way to do as you suggest is for the BATC to become a Limited Company and become VAT registered.
This involves a great deal of work and cost, too much for a non profit making organisation managed by volunteers like the BATC
Even with double duty the DTX1 is cheaper than other commercial equipment.

Dave.
