Hi all
Yesterday I ordered a Minitiouner from John G8IKP on his "for sale" post.
Today it arrived, well wrapped (understatement, I was cursing trying to get into the box!) and exactly as described.
John is an excellent seller with a clear understanding of getting things into the hands of people that are desperately looking forward to playing with a new toy.
I can't praise him enough.

Some local tv tests afoot or for QO-100 Greg?
Re: Highly recommended seller: John G8IKP
Hi Terry
right now, I'd be happy for the thing to see my ZynqSDR parked 5 feet away from it
My intention eventually is for a QO100 ground station, but my eventually could take 5 years - much like my "I will do the dishes soon".
In the meantime I am working on getting it working for local, there is a repeater that is (hopefully) line of sight from the Radio Club G3NMD that I can't wait to transmit to, I am not sure you are aware of it, I hear the repeater keeper is a really friendly guy. Coincidentally, he has the same callsign as you
If I can at least receive GB3KM from the Club we can start working on building a full station and you can enjoy watching old guffers talk about their bunions and things. Top band ain't got a thing on my Club
If ever you happen to have a Tuesday night free, we'd love to see you there and chat about DATV and your experience with the repeater.
