Re: LIBRE SDR - The new Pluto??
Is jou want to go side ways.
DL1JM has created a libre-sdr firmware version with the dvb pga in the software.
This brings back the pluto days when F5OEO created the DVB versions.
So after putting DL1JM on the SD card you'll get a 2908 kind version witch you gives a pluto.php browser screen and saves lots of CPU resources as the encoding is back in the Libre.
Unfortunately is the program still in alfa status. So distribution is still prohibited..
We have to wait a bit more...

Re: LIBRE SDR - The new Pluto??
Hi Benno
Thanks for that post. Very interesting and I will test it. One thing I did with the other Libre running Tezuka was to do the first overclock, which is not really an overclock at all as it is still within the normal range. This gave much greater bandwidths via the ethernet port. Reliably too. It would be nice to have the gui back.
The thing that the Libre is missing is the PTT output. On the Pluto, you can fit one of my or others relay PCB inside the Pluto to give a TX control. If we could replicate that I could replace my Pluto+OTG ethernet with the LibreSDR running this new firmware from F5OEO and DL1JM. My Pluto is currently running Evariste's venerable 0303 firmware and has been doing for years, it just works and does pretty much everything I need.

Hello,
This firmware does not have DATV.
Do you have the link to the correct firmware ?
Thanks,
Stephane.
