Please confirm that you have received a CALL/passkey combination from Phil for the Test Merger?

You should not need to reboot Portsdown to connect/disconnect from the merger, but I have just checked the current Portsdown code and it does leave the merger connected with the old parameters if you enter new parameters (such as server, Call or passkey) withough disconnecting first. This is not ideal, so I have just published a software update (202511050) which forces a disconnection if any of the paranmeters are changed.

I'll work on adding some documention about the Test Merger to the Wiki https://wiki.batc.org.uk/HAMTV_from_the ... the_Merger.

Thanks for the info...We have a streamer account...but I guess the test merger one is different...we will look into that.

You should contact HamTVOps@ariss-i.org - they will sort you out with all the info to log onto the Test Server and, if that goes well, the live server.

You'd be the first contributor in the USA; we're looking forward to having you on-board.
