Win 11and lime sdr mini2

Post by chrissifer » Wed Jul 30, 2025 7:13 pm

Hi all,
I am struggling with getting a lime sdr mini2 on a windows11 pc,
I intended to build a ports4 setup for Eshail but I have not been able to get any of the things that can work with it to see it

Lime utils
Sdr console
Lime test
The driver is correct and it appears in usb devices as the name of the correct ftdi driver.
I have done it so many times now!
If there is anyone out there who has time to help I would be very grateful.
I use a powered usb 3 port and have even done a clean install of win11😡

Message to the GU call that emailed me, I have replied by email but my email was blocked . I had a message saying that iCloud.com was blacklisted?
Not sure why?

Are you using Three as the internet provider? That can cause issues.

It does need the correct software drivers. Not many people are using the new Lime mini 2.0 as at over £400 it is so expensive. We know it works in Linux but Windows, not sure. It is sold as a drop in replacement for the Lime-Mini but perhaps not all software supports it. As usual, support for these devices are more aimed towards Linux users. I guess the obvious question is does it work in LimeSuite?

If not, would recommend a Pluto as an alternative.

Oh yes, and plug it in directly, not via a hub. It takes quite a bit of power.
