CAT25 Flea market

Post by radiogareth » Wed Jul 09, 2025 7:46 am

Other than the opportunity to gather and chat, there are also several tables available for members to pass on "quality items" for a future life. It saves on delivery and packing costs too :-)
So advance notice of a couple of items I have "for sale"....A double Tuner module WinterHill - never used by me, with the Hammond Box (uncut), RPI4 and SD card, both PICs, 3-D printed front panel (use as guide or as-is). Only the LNB PSU boards not present as far as I can tell.
And a Brick-based 70MHz amp (RA30H0608M) on a big heatsink with cooling fan. Set up for DATV with a bias on/off switch. Runs 30W FM on 12.5V and an easy 5W DATV which with my beam meets the ERP limit. I was lucky to find a MM 70 to 144 (new circuit) transverter that manages the same power so its surplus.
See the 'For Sale' section for more info....

Hi, sorry for sorta hijacking the topic
Do you have to pre book tickets fro the event or can we just turn up on the day.
I'm one of the many who have to apply for car tax directly with the DVLA, and in the past they have been very very slow, so often meant I had to take my car off road until they got around to the application, This year they have managed in 10 days so my car is taxed until next year.

Hi Richard

You need either need to pay admission to the museum or get a ticket in advance from the BATC shop.

Tickets in advance are free to BATC members from the BATC shop: https://batc.org.uk/shop/. If you are not sure whether you are coming, get a ticket anyway.
