Ryde / minitiouner@knucker support

Post by f5iwn » Wed Jul 30, 2025 9:21 pm

Hi all,
I am building à Ryde receiver to be used with a minitiouner ... preliminary tests are very positive .... i discovered That the Ryde SW supports also the Knucker (dvb-t), so why not installing all in the same box ?
This raised my question:
Can both the minitiouner and the Knucker stay connected to the Ryde system (enough usb port on rpi 4) , selection Being then done by the menus ?
In advance thank you

Yes, I think both can connect and then select which one you want to RX with.

Take a look at https://wiki.batc.org.uk/Ryde_Receiver# ... g_the_Ryde

See the section below:

'The Ryde as a DVB-T Receiver

The Ryde is also capable of receiving DVB-T signals in conjunction with the Knucker receiver.

In the config file, the DVB-T tuner must be selected when the band is defined. The default config file has 2 DVB-T channels, 146.5 MHz, 333 kHz bandwidth and 437 MHz 333 kHz bandwidth'
