I'll repeat my reply here, so others may comment:

"scp" stands for secure file protocol and is the way to copy from one computer to another.

Example: scp file.txt remote_username@10.10.0.2:/remote/directory

You need to use SCP, not SSH (although SCP does use SSH under the hood). There are plenty of examples out there.

Good afternoon,
I am struggling with a pluto that has lost its USB connection, I can access it via the network and had thought I could send files in that manner.
However, I have tried various programs but am still to find one that will take a file from Windows to a pluto environment in one easy move.
Not having a vast amount of experience playing with this side of computing could someone let me have a step by step guide please?
My aim is to get 0303 onto a pluto vis an network connection.

WinSCP is free and allows you to access the Pluto over a LAN using the SCP file protocol. Whether you can then load a new firmware version, and how, I don't know. If you give an example of the 0303 firmware on the Analog Devices user help forums they may be able to say if it's possible if nobody here has had success with this method. I can e-mail you a screen shot of WinSCP "speaking" to my Pluto on the LAN using SCP protocol if it helps? WinSCP is also, in my opinion a good and bloat free FTP app.

I still think your problem is drivers on the PC. If it works with the ethernet adapter then the Pluto is fine. You don't need to use USB on the PC unless you need to.

Bump. Just in case. https://wiki.analog.com/university/tool ... rs/windows You never did come back and say what Device Manager says in Windows. If it comes up as a USB drive, simply copy the firmware to that and eject the drive. Don't unplug it. Otherwise you can do it by ssh but if you have no computer knowledge, that's going to be difficult.

No sign on device manager, yes I have been reading about SSH and have come to the conclusion that it only works computer to computer not computer to pluto. I may of course be wrong, not unusual !
Its quite a broad subject and I only need a little code.
