Post by on4bhm » Thu May 10, 2012 8:49 pm

Hi,

I will be giving a lecture about the digilite project in our local ham radio club.
Does anyone have any information to share?
some extra graphics to share?
some upcoming versions to talk about...

any info is welcome.

The SD card version of DigiLite should be released in a few weeks. This enables previously recorded MPG files to be processed and stored on an SD card, so that they can be transmitted without a PC being connected.

The SD card socket sits on a small pcb which connects to the 10 pin socket JP1 on the DigiLite pcb. The separate DTU1141 homebrew serialiser pcb already has a position for the SD card socket.

It might be useful for test cards and portable operation.

Hi Brian, it is excellent news, I have my Digilite transmitter : https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B0RlL2e ... edit?pli=1with separate DTU1141 serializer, I have a question, is it need to reprogram the PIC to support the SD card?

Yes, there will be another version of the dsPIC software for SD card operation.
