I managed to miss this, it is MER 15-18 dB with me, D12 on 1 MS DVB-S 7/8. It might be better if it were using more FEC. I assume the plan is to use H264 and DVB-S2 eventually.

Mike

Edit, after some tweaking of preamps it is now MER22, D16. Good signal. Any plans for a receiver?

Hi Mike
Thats great I thought it would be good in your direction. I realise the FEC is not great but the coder is an early Link C108 coder that will not let me set more FEC at 1ms/s. We do have a 70cms receiver and 23cms which both work ok but we are waiting for a logic/switcher to be worked on and then installed on site, hopefully before Christmas.

Still there - this is my IC9700 IF.

It drops out every so often, better with less gain (down to D6) so I assume some QRM source is upsetting the tuner.

Thanks for confirming it’s on mike …I emailed the group a few weeks ago with no reply re what the working conditions were ….some of the ATV repeater groups need a serious overhaul with no updates for ages or ever …I will take a look for it next time I can get some enthusiasm… GB3PV a is a good signal here but never have seen anyone using it …same as GB3TN !!

Steve,

GB3TV is streamed fairly often at https://batc.org.uk/live/gb3tv

I understand some of the parts to update it have recently been acquired.

Pity there's no specifications or chat but I agree both would help.

Hi Steve
I’m guessing it’s just in beacon mode at present as no details of any access requirements.
I am at a new qth but main mast isn’t up yet but can RX GB3PV on a 36ele yagi at 10ft agl ..PV is about 25 miles from here .
Thanks for reply

Steve it's used weekday evenings; Thursday being less likely due to the QO-100 net.

There's a fortnightly net on Friday evenings, next one I believe is 09/06.

No idea why the keeper doesn't have specifications or chat, you would have to ask.
