I have just found an old Pace PRD800 satelite RX that I wish to try and use to receive the local repeater. From within the Install menu there is no means to remove the LNB voltage, does anyone know which components that I can remove to kill this? A link to a decent circuit diagram would also be of great help.
Many thanks
Mike G7GTN.

Re: Pace PRD800 LNB Voltage
Hello,
I think that this pace rx was in an old CQTV article a good while ago, sri don't know the issue number.

Eddie

Hi Eddie,
I think you refer to CQ-TV 188 an excellent article from Duncan G7PNE. I did already read this, but alas don't want power from the "F" type to power an LNA.
Shall have a better search for a circuit diagram, and failing this will at the very least take the OSD chip MB50555 out and use to built the CQ-TV design (radiokit.co.uk) as this part is known good.
Thank-you for the pointer in this direction.

Re: Pace PRD800 LNB Voltage
I've just raked around in my ATV box file and found some notes on this rx.
The LNB power feed goes into the can pin 14, fed from L3.
Hope this helps,
Eddie
