Hi Folks
Was just wondering if anyone knew of any GB-based DATV repeaters that are able to be accessed from NI?
I understand that I'd probably have to go up a hill to get it, but is it possible? And if so, what kind of antenna do you think would work?
Thanks
Jonny

Re: GB DATV Repeaters from NI
Hi Jonny,
I don't know but have wondered!
I imagine the antennas used in "nearby" repeaters are omni-directional at best, and directional pointing away from here at worst. And they are the sort of distance you'd need directional antennas both sides along with a bit of luck.
Something in NI or the IoM would work better

The one in the North West near Angelsey might be a possibility. It has good coverage out to sea.

We need a repeater for the GB repeaters on the IOM
I guess our best luck would have been Scotland, but I don't think there are any outside of England+Wales at this stage?
Cheers
