Filter Modulator Board

Post by gi3vaf » Sat Jan 12, 2019 2:18 pm

I'm not sure how to use the LimeSDR mini in the original Portsdown with respect to the filter modulator board as to whether or not the latter should be physically disconnected. The impression I get from the Wiki is that this is not necessary and one should go into Console Mode to select 'Output to' Lime or? Perhaps the procedure is obvious and I would apologise in advance if I'm missing something. Thanks

Hi Robert

No need to disconnect the filter-modulator board or the ADF4351 (although no reason not to).

You just need to select "Output to" Lime Mini on the touchscreen, connect the LimeSDR through a USB hub, upgrade the LimeSDR to the latest firmware (as described here https://wiki.batc.org.uk/Using_LimeSDR_ ... ation_Menu) and press transmit.
