Professional satellite dish wanted

Post by g8gtz » Sun Dec 16, 2018 3:54 pm

We are looking for a heavy duty Ku band satellite dish - ideal size between 1.5 and 3mts and preferably with heavy duty post mount and LNB arms.

Note must be heavy duty "professional" not consumer - any offers?

That's lovely - If I didn't have my 2.4m Andrew offset I would certainly go for that. I need an AZ/EL positioner of sufficient strength to move it.

Yes - saw that one and maybe - but it's in GI land.

Does anyone know how robust Channel Masters are?

Earlier post dissipated. That is the dish I have, but I have the heavy weight boom. They are good for 120MPH operating if you mount them properly. Also approved by Eutelsat. I think good enough unless you are extremely fussy.

They say they have their own courier that delivers to the mainland.
That listing has been there for a few months.

I have a 2.0 metre Precision satellite dish with feed support arms, ku feed and original Precision galvanised polar mount. It does not come with a ground stand but I do have galvanised tripod ground stands with either a 3" or 4.5" kingpost that I can sell as a separate item. The dish is prime focus spun aluminium. Precision were a UK based manufacturer of commercial grade satellite equipment, it is high end corporate grade kit.

Asking price is £750 for the dish, feed support arms, Ku feed and polar mount
Location, Surrey
