I can't take credit for the logo - Frank M0AEU designed it. Pleased that you like it.

Hi Steve

I really need an example of any additional webcam to find out all its data rates, data formats and quirks - they are not published online. Then I need to test my solution with a number of different transmission settings. If you are prepared to loan me your webcam for 2 weeks or so, I can have a go at integrating it. Please PM me if you are interested.

New Software Release

I've just issued a new release 201803180. This improves the logic required to reset the C525 Webcam at the end of a transmission (essentially locking the touchscreen for 3 seconds while the webcam is reset), and corrects an audio selection bug.

Unless you are using a C525 webcam, there is no point in rushing to upgrade to this release.

Hi Dave
Just upgraded to latest version and have lost touch screen facility, it has the correct screen selected 3.5 inch ver A and everything else is as before.
Any ideas ? Unfortunately my backup did not work!. Maybe the touch part of the screen has failed.
Kind regards

Ansy

If you log in through Putty, then select "Shutdown and Reboot Options, then select Restore Touchscreen.

Watch Putty as you touch the screen. Does it react at all?

Hi Dave
No, no response from the various parameters, so I guess my screen is screwed?
Should add tried another PI 3 B, not + and new image, still same.

It’s worth checking the ribbon cable as well. I had a duff one.

Hi Andy

I've seen your tweet and I'm a bit confused. Can't you test your MiniTiouner by selecting transmit from the Portsdown Console? All the Portsdown functionality should be available from there (except presets).

Or can you not log in using Putty or Kitty?
