Re: ADALM-PLUTO (new DATV SDR)
Yikes, Peter! June?
When did you place your order?
It might be worth investigating Mouser - they have 2 shipments due (Feb, as above, and March). Mine (only ordered 3/1/18) is still scheduled to be shipped from the first batch, so you might be able to get one a lot sooner than June.

Re: ADALM-PLUTO (new DATV SDR)
Analog Devices also produce a couple of add on boards (~£200)
AD-TRXBOOST1-EBZ 0.8 dB receive preamp/100 mW PA
AD-FREQCVT1-EBZ-ND frequency translator that allow the unit to operate below 70 MHz
https://wiki.analog.com/resources/eval/ ... l_overview
Although they are aimed at the FMCOMMS1/2/3/4 devboards they should work just as well with the Pluto.
The only issue I can see is that they need and SPI input to control the synth.
I suspect someone could make a little add on board using cheap Chinese dev boards for less money.

Re: ADALM-PLUTO (new DATV SDR)
Well G8PEF,
Looks like I have a delivery date of FEB 20, 2018...
Then I can try out Charles's good works!
And a spare in June if Digikey comes through.
Thanks for the tip.

Re: ADALM-PLUTO (new DATV SDR)
Good stuff, Peter
Unless you really want a 2nd one, you could always cancel the Digikey order.

Re: ADALM-PLUTO (new DATV SDR)
Mouser have now updated the expected delivery date to 25 Feb - has yours gone to the same date, or later, Peter?

Re: ADALM-PLUTO (new DATV SDR)
The Analog(ue) Devices website is quoting the 15th Feb 2018.
Re: ADALM-PLUTO (new DATV SDR)
From the ADI EngineerZone
"This was required since the current 256Mbit Micron flash is currently out of stock anywhere.
(That's BTW causing the long production delay for the next batch of ADALM-PLUTO)
We're now building a batch using the 512Mbit replacement type..."
So now you know!
