Hi. There are many difficult bits of kit yet to find for MCR21 ( www.mcr21.org.uk ) :-

1. Pulse & Bar Generator BBC GE4/504 Gresham Lion Electronics Ltd. Dual standard Pulse & Bar Generator. These were commercially available and used by the GPO amongst others. A Valve unit.

2. Military Vintage Ventaxia fans, 240V. These were originally in use in radio lorries in the 1950s and depending on just how you measure them they are 9-10 inches diameter.

3. Multicore cable needed. To be correct black sheaf with or without screen 20 way quite thin for signalling lamps etc. BBC PSF20/1M would be good. Lengths needed are 8 to 11m range.

4. Looking for an adjustable wall mounting bench light of that period possibly military style. The original 1963 one was a “ Meritus angle-poise” unit.

5. A Small item, a chrome plated cupboard latch. To Match original fittings, several needed.

Hi Brian,

I don't post often enough to PM so I've put this here.

3 Multicores.
Are you still after 20 cores?

I have various lengths and types

2 x c40m black screened 0.8mm OD
2 x c13.5m grey screened 0.6mm OD
1 x over 22m grey rubber screened 0.8mm OD
3 x 12m grey screened 0.8mm OD

2 x 25 core grey screened

Also other shorter lengths and lots of 8 cores.
It's all second hand recovered from a closing down video production facility last century.

Currently in Leyburn,Wensleydale but by arrangement can be collected from Northolt,W London.

If you (or anyone else for that matter) are interested can you get in touch.
No charge and it's all ultimately destined for recycling.

Andy

hello Andy

Interested in the 2 lengths of Black it has to be black for historical correctness. can you confirm how many cores ( 20 cores is good!) and that it is stranded ( not solid cores) and the overall sheaf diameter, (connector clamp & ducting space) . please.

If it's all good how would we get it here? Camberley.

I have also sent this as a private message as a test.

Thanks Brian
