Hi
Looking for supplier of small quantity of bonding wire for MECH-EL ball bonding machine. As far as I can tell the wire size is 1u. This machine came without any wire so have not been able to test properly but seems to be working. The heated table is missing but looks easy to make. Have tried some uk distributers but they are realy not interested.

have you looked at wires.co.uk

Just had a look, don't see it on that site. Will ask if they can obtain. I think the wire I need is 1thou (0.025mm) pure gold. To fine for the jewellery trade.

25um is the most likely size.
Have you tried inseto.co.uk? they may source wire but they don't look like they do 'small' orders though either!
Apart from that i have seen it here for reasonable price but the link is dead at the moment...
