Wanted someone with very good memory!

I am wondering if anyone remembers these components, I think they were Birketts in Lincoln but many years ago, they are labelled up as 2GHz and 250 milli-watts so not a great power level or frequency but I may be able to use them as a low stage amp if I can find any information on them. There are no markings to be seen but test like a npn transistor, the larger of the two tabs is the base the thinner collector.
The small things to the bottom left test as diodes so I guess they are UHF and above varactor diodes at 2pf. I can not for the life of me remember what project I had in mind at the time.
