A new repeater using the callsign GB3YT is currently being constructed.
G8NZR and G8POK have applied for a new repeater on a new site in Mirfield, and this is currently with the powers that be - hopefully waiting for a license/NOV to be granted.
The proposal is for DVB-S 23cms only with an output of around 25w ERP.

Re: New Repeater in pipeline
Sounds good - do you think the signal will cross the Pennines? ! How high up is it?

PS Are you using a DTX1?

Hi Laurence - Never got notified that someone had responded on this post!
Its now on air, but don't think it will get over the pennines. Got some good reports of around 100km from the north, but it is early days yet. Our own website is also now up and running at gb3yt.co.uk
We are running a DTX1 as transmitter.
