CAT15 is only 2 months away and we are putting the agenda together and will publish a first draft later this week.
We have got a good program lined up but have couple of spare slots and so looking for ideas as to what you would like to see covered and volunteers to give talks. In particular we would like to include talks on "on air" experiences and video production techniques in the shack.
This is your convention so let's have your ideas!
Admission to CAT15 will be £10 per day (payable on the door) which will include free tea and coffee all day and lunch provided by Finningley Radio Club - this goes directly to FRC towards up keep of this great facility and ALL visitors will be expected to pay this, even if you are not stopping for the whole day and or having lunch.
As in previous years, the BATC does not organise the hotels but we do know that the Reindeer in Sandtoft is now full but the Travelodge about 4 miles away on the A1 has still got rooms for £25 per night - see https://www.travelodge.co.uk/hotels/125 ... M180-hotel - and the Red Lion at Ebworth has still got rooms.
We will be arranging an informal dinner on the Saturday night at the Reindeer Inn in Sandtoft. http://www.thereindeerinn.co.uk/ and will need to know numbers in advance of the weekend.
So we are looking for your feedback / comments / volunteers to make this an even bigger success than CAT12, 13 or 14!
