Good filters needed on 3.4GHz

Vodafone now using the spectrum from 3410 MHz up which they bought for 5G and Graham G3VKV in Cheltenham posted this picture on the UKmicrowave io group.

As you can see this is right next door to the 3400 - 3410 MHz amateur allocation and so anyone planning 9cms operation will need very good filtering both on transmit and receive....

No wonder receiving GB3JV (3.404GHz) was so problematic with all that stuff nearby.
I wonder it the old Ionica TX filters can be persuaded to tolerate 50W from a Toshiba amp? The RX path can be catered for with a pipe-cap or two, or maybe an interdigital?
Something to discuss on Tuesdays HV show....

I use one of the filters from an Airspan/Stealth 9cms PA unit
the band is unusable here without it

Those are good filters and designed to handle the TX power, typically 20W. They can be re-tuned, so I would suggest using one of those. You only need it for receive but it is a good idea to keep your signal clean on transmit too.
