Given we have access to 10 MHz, the value of that is now caluculated at £4.3m/year! Imagine the price for 23cms where we have access to 85MHz!!An interesting item on the value of our microwave spectrum is below from Ofcom
Back in 2014/5 we retained access to 3400-3410 MHz in the PSSR-induced licence changes (courtesy of a well-known Primary User we share with)
The rest of 3.4GHz is prime real estate for 4G/5G mobile and went for quite a lot in the 2018 auction.
However a couple of segments were already allocated to Mobile use and below the ongoing renewal fee of ~£400k/pa /MHz has been decided
