For me, the only feature missing from the pluto unit is a PTT signal output to key the subsequent transmit steges needed to get the output up to a reasonable level. Its shown in the GUI but not implemented.

Plus as Mike says you can already use it as a DATV generator using Charles' excellent DATV-Express PC software.

We could easily add one. It has GPIO lines on the PCB. Alternatively maybe a more universal PTT based on USB control would be useful. It could do band switching too. These exist already, you could even use an Arduino nano.
