Some more news

Carl, M0ICS, is testing a new release orf software for the Pi to feed H.264 into the DTX1 via. our TS Dock board. This incorporates new firmware from Evariste F5OEO which greatly reduces the latency between scene and RF out!

The plan is to demonstrate this at the Rochdale Radio Rally on 21st May and thereafter make it available in one form or another e.g. a straight download of the micro-SD card image (though that would be huge) or maybe even by way of pre-loaded cards.
More news as I have it

Did you get the new sd image for the RPi sorted? I have been trying to get RPi 3 TS Dock and DTX1 to work but not there yet. I need the information about the TS Dock V2 26 way connector to trace the problem. I seem to have parallel data but need it to go to the right pins and more information would be nice.
Many thanks in advance
Martin

I may be able to work out the connections from the earlier post but any info could help...

Having checked the waveforms are all the way from the RPi to the header connecting the TS Dock to the DTX1 I then knew it must be something I had not set correctly in the menu. I had used preset 3 and that looked right.
Now it is working here is what I have on the menua
GENERAL - as you would expect, time and date
INPUT - AV Input 2
MODULATOR -RF Channel 437Mhz FEC 7/8 SR 333KSym/s
ENCODER - AV Input 2
then skip to ADVANCED TS Input 1 select and CLK MODE OFF
ADVANCED change to TS Input 2 select TS CLK Mode MAN CLK=< EDG=^
press down to get to
TS STREAM TYPE V=H264 A= MPEG2 if this is the mode you have set the RPI to.

This then worked with the Pi cam.

Hope this helps anyone else trying this....

Hi all,

Can someone give me a pointer for L1 and L2 and where to get hold of them - I've searched most of the online sites for BLO2-2RN62 (taken from the BOM on the DTX1 website) and drawn a blank.

TIA

Hi Ciaran
I'm sorry for the late reply - probably best to email support@dtx1.info for anything urgent ;)

Anyway these components are not critical, merely an offering to the Gods of EMC.
A couple of ferrite beads slipped over wire are fine. I doubt that shorting the inductors out would cause any real issue at a push.

Well first of all, a Happy New Year to everyone!

This is just a quick post to advise that BATC no longer stock the TS Dock PCB, but it is still available from Antennair.
For further details contact info@antennair.com
