Hi everyone, just to report that a new batch of Antennair's DVB modulators is in production now, a proportion of which will be configured as DTX1's and shipped to BATC in January.
As our build volume increases we are able to pass on savings (largely due to judicious larger scale component purchasing) to the DATV community and so BATC are passing this saving on (to members only) by not charging for postage and packing, with immediate effect. This applies to UK and overseas sales alike.

Some ancillary development specifically for DATV use is in progress too, news of that early next year.

Well here we are in July 2016 and it almost feels like summer!
Those of you who are looking to buy a DTX1 will no doubt be pleased to know that yet another batch is in production here in the UK.
Rather alarmingly the recent drop in the value of the £ vs. the $ (most high-end chips are bought overseas these days) might have caused issues but here at Antennair we still have stocks of the FPGA and the MPEG encoder IC's which are by far the dearest bit of the product, so BATC will not be suffering the ravages of high finance. And for overseas members the finished item now looks cheaper (in their local currencies), so really it's a win-win situation at the moment.

More news as we have it re. delivery dates.

Well yet again we are on with making a new batch. The circuit boards are all built; we just have to program the firmware in now and then I will be bringing them along to hand over to BATC at CAT16

Well after a disastrous problem with what was supposed to have been an easy build, it turned out we had to scrap the last batch as a manufacturing error with the bare laminates caused them all to de-laminate in the oven. Aargh!!

So we made yet another and thankfully they all are OK. The batch was delivered to BATC last week, so I expect they will appear in the shop soon
