Pico Tuner (BoM and schematic now found)

Post by g4nmd » Wed Feb 05, 2025 8:38 am

Have "lurked" around BATC (and UKMG) on and off for years but only recently started to think seriously about this aspect of the hobby.
Having met G4EML and others at the Ridgeway RT last week I have ordered a board and NIM for a pico tuner.

My difficulty (and it may be a navigation or search term issue) is I cannot find schematics or part lists for me to assemble parts etc before the boards arrive. I have looked at the WiKis but seem to go round in circles.

My initial aim is to receive QO-100 DATV and then move on to Portsdown etc.

2025 is my 50th year of being licensed and I have decided the challenge to meet is TV, microwaves and use CW!

Hi Graham,

I also find the Wiki a bit difficult to navigate sometimes. There is good information there but some of the newer items are at the end of a chain of links and don't appear in the main menu.

You should enjoy building the PicoTuner. As I said on Saturday if you have any questions someone on this forum will usually be able to answer them. If you do get stuck I am happy to help with testing and fault finding and I can always bring some test gear to your club meeting.

Thanks Colin

I have printed some info and used the BoM to order parts I don't have.

Thanks to all who responded
